Orali Health (fr. Vitrix Health)

• Identified a $2.1B gap within the healthcare market that led to over 108M Americans not seeing a dentist for their oral health needs and created a solution that used AI and computer vision to help decrease this healthcare disparity

• Translated insights from published AI algorithms using Pytorch and Transfer learning to detect the presence of periodontal diseases earlier which increased accuracy from 73% to 86% while decreasing the false positive rate

• Led a 5-person dev team to create an AWS/Firebase/Flutter enabled mobile app in 12 weeks, over the course of 4 product sprints. Tightly managed an agile process that integrated user input along the way; user reviews at launch indicated that 60% of users increased their engagement due to the new features

• Implemented tight customer feedback loops to ensure we were able to quickly iterate and create new features that brought value to physicians which increased daily active users by 30% and reduced churn by 10%

• Accepted into HAX accelerator, most competitive hardware accelerator (under 2% acceptance), where we applied the IDEO product design method to discover user needs and iterate them into our product

PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting

• Designed custom communication method between an on-premise datacenter and an external SaaS program using OATH and SAML to implement SSO. Completed product saved users 24 hours during onboarding and improved user retention by 50%.

• Upgraded company cybersecurity governance processes to be ISO 27001/NIST compliant after conducting user research with C-level executives to benchmark current processes and uncover latent user needs

• Migrated on-premise servers to AWS through the implementation of automated scripting and logging to reduce customer service tickets. Impact of migration totaled to an estimated $6mm annual reduction in cost

• Managed due diligence on potential portfolio companies and provided recommendations to Senior Leadership on how to allocate the 20M dollar venture fund which lead to 4 investments

• Supported portfolio companies with strategic recommendations and aided in business development saving the portfolio a combined 1-2M dollars
